Application

The SABIX® R 638 FRNC series delivers reliable safety and performance for railway applications. This shielded, low smoke halogen-free (LSHF) control cable features black numbered conductors and an overall tinned copper braid for enhanced EMC protection. Rated for 500 V and up to +90°C, it is designed with a durable SABIX® jacket that ensures resistance in harsh operating conditions. Certified to CE and RoHS, the R 638 FRNC meets stringent international standards and complies with EN 45545-2 fire protection requirements. Its flame-retardant, halogen-free construction prevents corrosive gases in case of fire, while its shielding delivers dependable electromagnetic compatibility. SABIX® R 638 FRNC is engineered for flexible installation in rail vehicles, combining fire safety, EMC reliability, and long-term durability for critical railway control systems.
