For application areas with very high temperatures, SAB has developed different heat-resistant cables and fire-resistant cables that can be optimized for use in dry, damp, or wet applications. Design variations include continuous flex versions and temperature resistance as low as -50°C and up to +180°C for continuous operation and up to +250°C for short periods. Temperature-resistant cables from SAB are often used in the steel industry, plastics processing, refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning technology, in the lamp and lighting industry or in sauna construction.
